Since our beginnings, we have worked with passion to offer products of the highest quality, taking advantage of more than fifty years of experience in the textile sector. We manufacture knitwear in a fair way, ensuring the quality of work of our entire team, where a part is made up of people at risk of social exclusion, who thanks to sewing, have dignified and prosperous working conditions.

Since 1969, the textile cooperative has been a vital source of employment and economic and rural development in Espluga Calba and the Garrigues region, offering work opportunities to people of all ages.
Currently, we are proud of the 3rd generation of families dedicated to the art of knitting. We ensure continuous generational relief with our own "Teixint Futurs" project, thus reinforcing our commitment to the transfer of knowledge, continuity and the know-how that characterizes us.

All the people who work in the cooperative are working partners, and with a largely feminized workforce, where 80% are women. This work model guarantees maximum involvement and commitment, and makes possible greater equality, a better distribution of resources and benefits, and collective and democratic decision-making.

We implement good practices that care for people and the environment, offering opportunities, working conditions and fair wages; and implementing different systems to measure environmental impacts, traceability (Digital Product Passport) and obtaining recycling certifications.

Our production is local, located in a town in Lleida and near Barcelona. We operate in a municipality of less than 350 inhabitants, where we are the only non-agricultural cooperative in the entire area.
We promote the creation of quality jobs, especially for women in rural areas, fighting against rural depopulation.
A family knitted by experience and commitment
"From an early age, I knew that I wanted to live in my village, l’Espluga Calba, and working in agriculture did not appeal to me. With the textile cooperative next to my house, I saw the opportunity to weave my future: it allows me to stay in the village without having to go to the city in search of job opportunities."

"Due to the pandemic, I lost my job. I had my own nursery school in Lleida, to which I had dedicated 25 years, but in 2020, I was forced to close it. At 45, I found myself without a job and at home; that situation wasn’t for me, I needed to work. I sent out several resumes, but it was very difficult because I only had experience in the nursery. Then I thought of the cooperative factory, where my mother had worked since its beginnings. I got in touch with them, and they welcomed me with open arms, knowing that I had never touched a thread before. They made it very easy for me and continue to help me; they taught me everything, and I’m very happy here."

Working here has connected me with my roots, and I feel proud to carry on the legacy and craftsmanship that has been passed down to me."

"I’ve been working here for over 20 years. I started at seventeen, doing mending, assembling pieces, sewing the sides, making buttonholes, and attaching buttons... a bit of everything. Later on, they asked me to assist the supervisor, and after a few years, when she retired, I took over her role."

"I’ve been working here since I was 16. I didn’t like studying, and my parents offered me the chance to work at the factory. I had always wanted to be a fashion designer, and working with clothes appealed to me from the start. I began with a mending machine, but I’m allergic to metal, so they moved me to another position, and that’s where I’ve been for the past 20 years."

"My work as a seamstress has been the way I’ve supported a family. Well, mine and my husband’s, who also retired a few years ago after working here his whole life. The factory is an opportunity to keep living in the village without needing to drive every day, and with the flexibility that comes with being a cooperative; if one day we need to go to the doctor, there’s no problem."

For more than half a century, we have been specialists in knitting. We put at your disposal our experience and advanced technology – Shima, Cotton and Proti – to offer gauges from 3 to 16 for the manufacture of private label, white and own brand knitwear.

We have a complete manufacturing cycle, from manufacturing to distribution, under one roof in facilities near Barcelona (EU). The piece does not leave our facilities, which allows us a thorough quality control. With an annual capacity of 200,000 pieces, scalable thanks to collaborative workshops, where we optimize production control and adapt to market demands.
